Being invited to work on DIY SOS projects is something the whole team at S&D Paving & Landscaping is extremely proud of.
We were recently part of an amazing team of volunteers who came together for the new series of DIY SOS with six brand-new episodes in Series 35, beginning on Tuesday 22nd September on BBC1. We helped transform outdoor spaces in Devon and Southampton and we’re proud to have played our part and can’t wait to see the transformations on screen.
These builds bring together tradespeople, suppliers and volunteers who give their time, skills and materials to create life-changing spaces for families and organisations that need them.
For our team, each project is very different from a typical landscaping job. DIY SOS builds work to extremely tight schedules, with numerous trades working alongside one another and everyone focused on getting the transformation completed on time.
On the DIY SOS projects we have supported, the aim has always been to create practical, welcoming and usable outdoor spaces that can continue to be enjoyed long after the cameras have gone.
It is particularly rewarding to see an outdoor space come together so quickly and to know that the work will have a genuine impact on the people who use it.
Being asked to return for multiple projects is something we’re particularly proud of and reflects the commitment our team brings to every build.
Our experience across paving, driveways and landscaping means we can get involved in many different aspects of the outdoor transformations. Over the years, our contribution has included paving, patios, driveways, fencing, turfing and other landscaping work.
Taking part in DIY SOS is about much more than showcasing what our team can do.
We donate our time, expertise and materials because these projects give us an opportunity to use the skills we’ve developed over many years to help families, charities and communities.

We’re incredibly proud to have played our part and hope to continue supporting worthwhile projects in the future.
