Wraparound Patio & Driveway Installation
This project included both a driveway and patio transformation in Cranleigh, Surrey. For the driveway, we installed Tobermore Pedesta block paving with a stylish charcoal border to create a clean and modern contrast. This has completely opened up the front of the property, giving the home a more spacious and premium appearance.
In the rear garden, we installed a full wraparound porcelain patio using premium porcelain by London Stone. The porcelain paving creates a sleek, contemporary finish while offering a durable and low-maintenance outdoor space for the customer to enjoy year-round.
One of the biggest challenges on this project was water management and drainage. The driveway naturally falls towards the property, which can lead to flooding. We installed a complete perimeter drainage system using Aqua Channel drains around the property to combat this. These channels are connected directly to an existing soakaway system to safely manage rainwater runoff.
As an additional safeguard, we also installed an overflow drainage solution to ensure that if the main drainage system becomes blocked or overwhelmed, excess water has a controlled emergency exit route down the side of the property.
