Driveway Installation, Stoneleigh
Our team at S&D Paving recently completed this stunning new driveway installation in Stoneleigh. We completely renovated the front of the property with premium paving, improved drainage and enhanced kerb appeal.
The driveway has been installed using Brett Aura block paving in a combination of large and medium-sized blocks to give a contemporary finish to the space.
Along with the driveway installation, we also constructed new fencing and a front gate. To align with the contemporary appearance of the driveway, we installed a double-rail chestnut fence and four gate posts, which will be added to later by the client.
During our driveway installation, we also prepared the property for future electrical works, such as lighting, which will be fitted by the client’s electrician.
A major aspect of the installation was ensuring compliance with Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) regulations. These guidelines require surface water from driveways to be managed within the property and not discharged onto public footpaths or roads.
To align with these needs, we installed linear drainage channels on both sides of the driveway, soakway crates in the lawn area and ensured a connection to underground pipeworks.
The customer opted for American silica resin jointing sand, which is a modern alternative to traditional kiln-dried sand that cures to a stronger, more durable joint finish. This enhances the contemporary appearance of the driveway and ensures a lasting installation.
The completed driveway installation is a practical, fully compliant surface with excellent drainage performance and a premium finish.
