Good afternoon everyone, Andrew from S&D Paving in Epsom here. Just a little video of a finished small patio area and new turf lawn that we completed last week.
Apologies I’m not showing a before video of this one, I happened to be away for a couple of days while my guys started it, but I thought I’d do a finished video just to give you an idea of the work involved.
New Patio Area
So, as you can see a recessed manhole cover. We’ve left a gap along the property because that’s where the full tile’s worked out.
We’re going to fill that now with some nice 10mm slate. We’ve got two steps here, done with a 40mm bullnose. As you can see, a nice little patio area.
Here’s the little raised wall which keeps the garden a little bit more level.
Garden Turfed and Levelled
The customer wanted to level the garden up. It was a step garden so we brought it all to one level.
A little patio area runs along the house to be able to open the bifold doors.
And then obviously this was a double level, there used to be a wall across the middle and steps, and it used to step from this level up to the top, we’ve got it all on one level so the kids can get out there with a football and enjoy it now, so yeah, look at that transformation.
