Project Before Video
Morning everyone, Andrew from S&D Paving here in Epsom, Surrey. Currently on our next project which is a driveway in Morden, Surrey. On this driveway we’re going to use Tobermore Shannon in slate. We’re going to completely excavate this out today. The customers applied for a drop curb which will be done as soon as we finish the driveway.
We’re going to complement this driveway with a complete dig out, down 12 inches, setting our membrane, our sub base, our screed, our paving sand, and layer and cutter blocks in. For us this is a three day job. It’s a 25 to 30 square meter driveway and it’s now Wednesday, so we should be finished by Friday.
Project After Video
So here is the small 25 square meter Tobermore driveway we finished this morning. We’ve done this in the Shannon Duo in Slate and we’ve incorporated a drain at the front. Don’t worry about the sand and cement finish, this customer is just about to do a drop curb as you can see.
They will redo the tarmac to the front which will leave it nice and clean. We’ve set a concrete curb across the front. We’ve had to make best do with a concrete curb along the side, there was nothing else we could do to incorporate into the steps as the neighbour owned them and didn’t want to touch them at all.
